

Engineering company MW Kellogg celebrates its 60th birthday

The Wizards Network was engaged to design and manage MW Kellogg’s one day 60th birthday celebration event in August. The event was for 2000 people (MW Kellogg staff and their families) and the brief was to ‘capture the spirit of the company.’


Simon and the team proposed an agenda full of impact which weaved key corporate messages into a series of experiential zones, six in total, one for each decade.

The zones included experiences such as:

“I chose the Wizards among others to bid the work because the company had worked with them before and I’d heard good things about them. The proposal they put forward was the most creative, interesting and relevant to our business.
In the lead-up to the event, Simon’s creativity took me outside my comfort zone but his vision proved exactly right. Rosie was very well organised and Paul worked efficiently on the HSE side of things even when our HSE requirements were greater than he was expecting. All three Wizards were responsive and available. On the day, they were unobtrusive whilst making it happen.

People found the event fun. It also stimulated and interested them whilst very much capturing the spirit of MW Kellogg.
The reptile man was a major highlight with many people commenting that they couldn’t believe that they had wrapped a boa constrictor around their neck! The food and kids’ entertainer were also big hits.
